Lifting 200 Voices in Celebration, a unique choral festival celebrating two centuries of good works by City Mission that will take place on Saturday October 22, 2016 at old South Church in Copley Square.  This choral festival is a benefit for City Mission which is the oldest social justice organization in New England. City Mission has offered ways for ordinary people to put their faith into action for 200 years. Today with a strategic focus on preventing homelessness, City Mission touches the lives of over 53,000 people in Greater Boston.

Participating choirs will include the Boston Children's Chorus and other excellent choirs committed to community building and social justice.  At the festival concert, the various choirs will be featured singing two selections of their choice.  For the finale, the choirs will sing together under the direction of with our charismatic Festival Choir director Donnell L. Patterson.

This choral festival is a benefit for City Mission, and participating choirs will donate their services to the cause.  Old South Church in Copley, one of the founding congregations of City Mission, is providing the space for this concert at no cost. Tickets will be sold to the general public.

$25+ suggested donation for audience members. $15+ suggested donation for participating singers.
