Each year Oberlin Choristers offers five choirs, touring opportunities, a summer World Music Festival, an Honors Choir and pre-school programs to over 500 children from northeast Ohio.
New England Conservatory of Music -- Recognized nationally and internationally as a leader among music schools, New England Conservatory offers rigorous training in an intimate, nurturing community to 750 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral music students from around the world. Its faculty of 225 boasts internationally esteemed artist-teachers and scholars. Its alumni go on to fill orchestra chairs, concert hall stages, jazz clubs, recording studios, and arts management positions worldwide. Nearly half of the Boston Symphony Orchestra is composed of NEC trained musicians and faculty.
The Young People's Chorus of NYC -- The mission of the YOUNG PEOPLE’S CHORUS OF NEW YORK CITY is to provide children of diverse abilities and backgrounds a comprehensive knowledge of music as a way to further their personal and artistic growth and foster cross-cultural understanding. Young people from all five boroughs—representing a wide range of faiths, nationalities, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and over 150 public, private, and parochial schools—work, sing, and perform together.
The Chicago Children's Choir -- a multiracial multicultural choral music education organization, shaping the future by making a difference in the lives of children and youth through musical excellence. The choir was started in 1956, by the late Rev. Christopher Moore, with the dream that young people from diverse backgrounds could better understand each other, as well as learn about themselves, by learning to make beautiful music together. The Chicago Children's Choir brings together nearly 3,000 kids in the shared pursuit of musical excellence and personal growth.
MMEA -- Massachusetts Music Educators Association, is a federated state unit of MENC - the National Association for Music Education. MMEA is comprised of over 1500 members, and its goal is to advance and strengthen music education in the state of Massachusetts.
