Performance10th Annual MLK Jr. Tribute ConcertContent of Character

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his most memorable speech at the Lincoln Memorial in August 1963. The year 2013 marks the 50th Anniversary of King's oft-quoted words "I have a dream." Among his many dreams, King declared:

"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

We also celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the Boston Children's Chorus, and are proud to present the 10th annual concert dedicated to the memory of Rev. King. This year's tribute reprises songs from the nine previous MLK concerts along with new songs celebrating the 10th Anniversary.

Come hear songs and stories of struggle and liberation by the talented BCC singers expressing Rev. King's dream of a peaceful and just society.
