Weekend of Teacher Professional Development

For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.

Join us for a concert celebrating the journey to the concert stage and honoring the work of our youngest singers

March 8 & 9, 2013

In conjunction with our training and intermediate choirs concerts, The Boston Children’s Chorus is proud to present the 5th Annual Weekend of Song and Professional Development at Boston University for music educators.

Observe singers in rehearsals, learn from internationally renowned guests, and interact with colleagues and BCC Staff.  You will engage in workshops with our Guest Artist, Henry Leck -- Founder and Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, BCC Staff, and the singers of the Boston Children’s Chorus.  The two-day format allows time for our contact with our guest clinician and an opportunity to observe singers in rehearsal.
Come for Friday or Saturday, or both days.  The repertoire theme for this event is Journey. Free packets of repertoire will be distributed to the first 40 registrants. The occasion will conclude with a concert. Get ready for a time of song and renewal!
