Boston Children’s Chorus Announces New Appointments to Board of Directors

Boston, MA (June 25, 2018) – Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) announces the appointment of four new Directors to the Board.  Linda Turnbull of The Waldwin Group, Lisa Sheeler of Massachusetts Financial Services (MFS), Michael Hunter of Trinity Financial, and Maureen Boisvert, Community Volunteer join the board of the fifteen year old organization.

Chairman of the Board Allan Kiser said, “I am thrilled that this exceptional group of leaders has decided to join us on the journey to help BCC thrive in the future.”

Linda Turnbull is the Director of Administration and Human Resources at The Waldwin Group. The Waldwin Group is an independently owned franchisee of Dunkin Donuts with locations throughout metropolitan Boston.

Lisa Sheeler is responsible for supporting the investment advisory business at MFS.  She graduated from Boston University School of Law, and has volunteered at organizations such as City Year, and Cradles to Crayons.  

Michael Hunter is responsible for leading business development activities at Trinity Financial.  Michael previously served in the Administration of Governor Deval Patrick as Undersecretary for Business Development overseeing the Mass Office of Business Development, Mass Office of International Trade and Investment and Tourism.  Michael has extensive real estate experience, including having served as Deputy Director at the Boston Redevelopment Authority. 

Maureen Boisvert is a Community Volunteer, and a long time BCC parent, having had 3 sons participate in the program.  In addition, Maureen has an extensive background in the Financial Services industry having served in a variety of executive level roles. 

BCC is forever grateful to retiring board members, Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Hubie Jones, Chairman Emeritus, Tim Ferguson, and long-time supporter and distinguished board member, Pam Adams. These Directors were vital to helping BCC flourish over the past 15 years. It was their vision and contributions that helped BCC to become the exceptional organization that it is today. We extend a heartfelt thank you to each of them.
