Singer Spotlight: BCC Summer 2019 Edition

BCC News

The 2019 BCC Summer program offered an exciting, four weeks of choral singing, dance, drumming, ukulele, and visual arts. Our conducting staff featured beloved members of the BCC family: Robbie Jacobs, Irene Idicheria, Trey Pratt, and Jason Holmes. The program's rotating arts faculty included the amazing Sara Peattie (puppeteer), Krista Speroni (drumming), Sybil Huggins (dance), Amy & Mcebisi Xotyeni (dance), and Irene Idicheria (ukulele). We had fifteen dedicated Counselors-in-Training, who volunteered their time over 40 hours each week and truly were the connective tissue of the entire program. The creativity displayed each week was astounding, and the friendships made were lasting.

Andrew, Leila, and Veronique share their favorite experiences from this summer's program.
