In conjunction with our training and intermediate choirs concert and annual weekend of song and professional development for music educators, the Boston Children’s Chorus is proud to present a special workshop and discussion of its unique Social Integration Initiative® with guest educator Jane Wilburn Sapp.

We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Wilburn Sapp, an extraordinary musician, educator, activist, and cultural worker.  She was a Civil Rights Movement leader and has worked in schools and community centers for decades developing techniques to help the silenced find their voices through the arts. Join us as she discusses her life’s work and demonstrates how to better build community through songwriting.

The event is geared toward people working for social justice, music educators, musicians, parents, youth and those who care about developing the next generation.
