Orhan Gündüz, the late Turkish Honorary Consul in Boston, was a highly respected member of the Boston Turkish Community and the founder of the original Turkish school in the late 70s. The present school was established in 1994 in his memory, and which is in its 17th year in the care of its dedicated parents and teachers. 

BCC has been invited to perform at the school's annual Children’s Day Celebration.  The program is full of exciting dances, songs, and performances by the students of the school and a few visiting performing groups. At the end of the program, there will be face painting, balloon animals, and crafts! This event is free and open to the public.
