"We are each other’s harvest: we are each other’s business: we are each other’s magnitude and bond." - Gwendolyn Brooks
Boston Children’s Chorus’ Training and Intermediate Choirs come together for an afternoon of learning and sharing about the Farm Workers’ Movement of the 60s & 70s. Led by Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, this movement for better wages, safe working conditions, and the right to unionize is reflective of a strong legacy of nonviolence and care for our neighbors. Join our youngest singers as they explore the interconnected nature of community, care, and advocacy.
