Family Council
At Boston Children's Chorus (BCC), the strength of our community is built on the proactive support and commitment of its members. BCC encourages a participatory community that is reflected through volunteerism, choir spirit, event attendance, philanthropic giving, and exchange of expertise. As a member of our community, you are a part of our family; and we invite you to share your talents, time, advocacy, and enthusiasm.
About the Family Council
We are welcoming all BCC caregivers, both past and present, and advocates of BCC to join us on Family Council. All are encouraged to participate in the Council's many initiatives and activities. Family Council serves as the primary link between BCC’s leadership and singers’ families.
Why we need you
At BCC, families are our foundation and our legacy. Your presence at and involvement in BCC’s activities enriches the singer's program experience and supports our community. Your leadership on Family Council will provide us invaluable feedback and insight on how we can shape our programs to best serve our community.
Ways to get involved
At BCC, all interested adults are invited to attend Family Council meetings and to contribute to discussions and decisions. Council activities will be varied and will reflect the current needs of BCC. Volunteer Teams are shown below with examples of possible team-organized activities. Leadership opportunities for each Volunteer Team are available. If you are interested in being a group leader, please contact us for more information!
