DAILY SCHEDULE
At BCC SUMMER, your singer progresses through four days (Monday - Thursday) of a child-friendly, multidisciplinary schedule that opens up their creativity and connects them to new friends! On day five (Friday), we meet for our dress rehearsal, go on an excursion related to the week's theme, and meet our community members for a concert at 6pm!
Our schedule is designed to help your child stay engaged, to encourage them to explore many ways of being creative, and to empower them to prepare a full concert program in a week's time. Choral Rehearsals are led by each week's conductor; Breakout Sessions are led by our faculty of teaching artists (dance, drumming/ukulele, and visual art); Activities are led by our fantastic team of counselors, who are dedicated high school members of Boston Children's Chorus.

Our learning process is thematic and interdisciplinary. Weekly excursions round out our understanding of key themes and concepts and include time spent outdoors.
What is environmental justice? Why do we sing into social justice? How are various cultures experienced in song? These are among the many questions we ask this summer in our music, in our friendships, and in our fun!
