Marcel De Los Santos brings over a decade of nonprofit development expertise to her role as Development Deputy Director at Boston Children's Chorus. As a proud Latina leader with a Master's degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University and Public Leadership Credential from Harvard University, Marcel has secured more than $1 million in grant funding throughout her career and excels at building meaningful donor relationships. Her trilingual fluency in English, Spanish, and French enhances her ability to connect with diverse communities and advance the chorus's mission of inspiring social change through music.
Beyond her professional achievements, Marcel brings a unique artistic perspective through her background in classical ballet, which she studied intensively from age 6 to 19. This experience instilled in her a deep appreciation for the transformative power of performing arts and their ability to unite communities—values that resonate deeply with Boston Children's Chorus. Her combined expertise in development and firsthand understanding of artistic training makes her uniquely positioned to support young performers while strengthening the organization's philanthropic foundations.
