
Reese Pike
Collaborative Pianist
Reese Pike is a jazz and classical pianist originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently a masters student at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute under the direction of Danilo Pérez. In 2025, she graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with Jazz Emphasis and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. At Lawrence, she studied with Bill Carrothers, Dr. Catherine Kautsky, and Anna Reiser. Reese was a member of the Lawrence University Jazz Ensemble, jazz combos, Wind Ensemble, and chamber music groups. She frequently accompanies both singers and instrumentalists, including work with the Coro Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Santiago, Chile. She was honored to be selected to perform with Carl Allen at the inauguration of Lawrence’s current president, Laurie Carter. Reese regularly performs in a wide variety of musical styles, including a solo piano performance of contemporary classical music written by Gabriela Lena Frank at the 2022 Omaha Under the Radar Festival and a jazz trio performance at the 2024 Iowa City Jazz Festival. She has also opened for Christian Sands and Champian Fulton, and she was especially excited to return home to perform with the Omaha Symphony in 2025. The recipient of the 2024 Jazz Education Network Hal Leonard Scholarship and the 2025 Presser Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship, she is passionate about expanding representation within the jazz world and was the co-founder of the Jazz and Gender Equity Initiative at Lawrence. Reese loves working with students of all ages and is excited to be part of the Boston musical community!
