Tonasia Jones (they/them) is a dynamic, results-driven leader with over ten years of experience in program management, strategic planning, and arts leadership. With a strong foundation in organizing events and optimizing processes, Tonasia excels at identifying challenges, building cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement to achieve impactful outcomes.

Tonasia's leadership has revitalized arts programming, fostered key partnerships, and embedded social inquiry into artistic processes. During their recent tenure at The Theater Offensive (TTO), Tonasia played a pivotal role in expanding programming, developing innovative curricula, and securing over $600,000 in grant and corporate funding to propel QTPOC artistry forward. They also co-led groundbreaking initiatives such as the Emergent Artist Residency Program, True Colors Program, and Queer (Re)Public, helping establish TTO as a leader in queer arts in Boston.

Beyond their work with TTO, Tonasia has cultivated impactful relationships with institutions such as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Company One Theatre, National Performance Network, and Boston Public Schools. Their influence extends nationally, serving as a thought partner and advocate in key industry cohorts, including the Queer Arts Exchange, Queer Theater Alliance, and Nonprofit Finance Fund's LANE (Leveraging A Network for Equity) Cohort.

Described as a "placemaker and disruptor," Tonasia leads with boldness, compassion, and a deep commitment to liberation in the arts. Their work continues to create pathways that bring artists and audiences closer to themselves and each other, proving that intentional, values-driven leadership is at the heart of transformative storytelling and community building. For more information on Tonasia, feel free to follow them on LinkedIn.
